Skoda Kamiq SUV In India For The First Time – Spy Pictures
Skoda Auto has already confirmed that it will launch a mid-size SUV in India in 2021. The vehicle will make its first public appearance in the country at the 2020 Auto Expo in February. The Skoda Kamiq (Europe-spec) was recently spotted testing in India for the first time. While the global Kamiq has been designed on the Volkswagen Group’s MQB A0 platform, its India-spec model will be based on the MQB A0 IN platform.

Design and styling, however, will be similar to the global model. The spy pictures reveal that the new Skoda compact SUV will feature an 8.0-inch touchscreen display.
The new Skoda compact SUV will come with 5-seats layout with adjustable rear seats with integrated reclinable back rests.
The Skoda Kamiq could also be offered with automatic climate control, a multi-functional steering wheel, leather seat upholstery and several other comfort goodies.
Engine details of the vehicle are yet to be revealed. Reports suggest that it could be offered with a new 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine along with an expected petrol CNG hybrid powertrain.
