Mahindra Bolero Power+ Special Edition Launched – What’s So Special?

The Mahindra Bolero is one of the highly-popular multi utility vehicles in both urban and rural Indian market. As the festive season approaching, the home-grown carmaker has decided to bring in a special edition of the Mahindra Bolero+. The new Mahindra Bolero Power+ special edition gets minor cosmetic enhancements along with a few new features over the regular model.

Only 1000 units of the Mahindra Bolero Power+ special edition will be sold across the nation. Available across all trims, the new limited edition will be priced around Rs 22,000 premium than the regular model that costs between Rs 7.49 lakh – Rs 8.86 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). On the exterior, the new Mahindra Bolero Power+ special edition features Special Edition Decal, Special Edition – Scuff Plate Set, Front Bumper add-on Fog Lamps and Spoiler with Stop lamp. No changes have been made to its engine. The Mahindra Bolero Power+ special edition comes equipped with a 1.5L, three-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that’s good for 71bhp and 195Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties are taken care of by a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The carmaker will upgrade the Bolero’s 1.5L oil burner to make it BS6-compliant before its deadline – i.e. April, 2020. The standard Bolero, currently, comes with a 2.5L diesel engine pushing out power worth 63bhp and 195Nm of torque.
