MapmyIndia has introduced India’s first Nation-wide Digital Address System – eLoc – in the country. The eLoc is a simple and easy to use digital address system that will bring significant benefits to businesses, government and individuals across the nation. This system works on India’s most comprehensive accurate and precise door-step level, 3D, digital map database and turn-by-turn navigation solutions developed by MapmyIndia.
The eLoc is a short 6-character code of location, which will be easy to remember, type and share. It gives the precise map location of any place and turn-by-turn directions. One can also check out information about that particular place including reviews, photos, place’s owner, businesses, etc.
eLoc will also help Indian travelers and commuters search, share and navigate to destinations’ exact doorstep far more easily and quickly. It will also reduce time, money and fuel wastage and expenses for businesses in the ecommerce, transportation, logistics and field operations domains. MapmyIndia has invested over 200 crores over the last 20+ years in advanced mapping technologies and professional field surveys.
