Yezdi Roadking Motorcycle Making A Comeback – Teased Officially

After re-introducing the BSA and Jawa, Mahindra owned Classic Legends is now ready to revive the iconic Yezdi brand. The company has officially released a teaser revealing a Yezdi cruiser motorcycle, which is likely to be called the Yezdi Roadking.

The company is testing two new motorcycles – Roadking cruiser and an all-new Adventure motorcycle. In fact, clear images of the Yezdi ADV have already hit the web-world. Both motorcycles are likely to be based on a new platform that has a higher load-bearing rear subframe. It could be the modified architecture that underpins the Jawa bikes.

The spy shots reveal that the Yezdi Roadking is likely to be a neo-retro scrambler. The motorcycle will come with retro-styling elements such as a round headlamp, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, circular rearview mirrors, single-piece seat, upright tail-section and fork gaiters.

The vehicle has slim fender that accommodates a small LED headlamp and a tyre hugger. There will be a twin exhaust setup with short tailpipes and canister. The motorcycle is likely to offer comfortable riding posture with wide handlebar, centre-set footpegs and comfortable seat. The motorcycle likely to share the suspension setup, engine and other cycle parts with Jawa.

The Yezdi Roadking is likely to get telescopic front forks and mono-shock with preload adjustability at the rear. It is likely to get disc brakes on both end. Dual-channel ABS is likely to be offered as standard. The lower variant could get a single-channel ABS system as well. The motorcycle will ride on wire-spoked wheels wrapped in dual-purpose tyres.

The Yezdi Roadking scrambler is likely to be powered by a 334cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 30bhp and 32.74Nm of torque. It will be paired to a six-speed gearbox. The vehicle could get a slipper and assist clutch.

Yezdi Adventure Bike

The Adventure motorcycle spy images suggest that the design inspiration comes from its biggest rival – the Royal Enfield Himalayan. The motorcycle gets a traditional round headlamp, a tall windscreen, a bulbous fuel tank, round-shaped rear-view mirrors, and split seat setup. The spotted model features single disc brakes on both wheels. It will also get dual-channel ABS system. Other additions will include a fully-digital instrument console, telescopic front forks, monoshock rear suspension and wire-spoked wheel.
