Classic Legends is all set to re-introduce the iconic Yezdi motorcycle brand in the Indian market. The company is preparing 3 new models, which have already been spotted testing multiple times on the Indian roads. Ahead of the possible debut in December or January, an undisguised test model of the Yezdi Adventure motorcycle has been spotted in India.
The Yezdi Adventure bike design inspiration comes from its biggest rival – the Royal Enfield Himalayan. The clearest images reveal that the motorcycle comes with a traditional round headlamp, a tall windscreen to reduce wind blast, a bulbous fuel tank, round-shaped rear-view mirrors, and split seat setup. The motorcycle also gets panniers on the fuel tank and tail-light. The headlight is mounted on the forks, and the front panniers are not the part of the subframe.
The front panniers can be turn into crash guards. It is likely to be offered as an official accessories. Jerry cans are mounted at the front, while two side boxes are mounted at the rear. These features should help Yezdi Adventure to achieve long-distance touring. The vehicle could also gets a pair of knuckle guards.
The Yezdi Adventure motorcycle is likely to share the engine with the Jawa siblings. The motorcycle has different crank cover, which seems identical to tthe older Yezdi bikes. It is expected to be powered by a 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that powers the Jawa Perak. This engine churns out 30.64PS of power and 32.74Nm of torque.
This engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The sweptback exhaust system is completely different, and has protective cladding. The spotted model features single disc brakes on both wheels. It will also get dual-channel ABS system. Other additions will include a fully-digital instrument console, telescopic front forks, monoshock rear suspension and wire-spoked wheel.
A new upcoming Yezdi scrambler has also been spotted alongside the Adventure motorcycle. It comes with features like a single-piece seat, lower handlebars, dual rear shockerts and different exhaust. Two different cruiser bikes have also been spotted testing. These bikes get a pillion backrest, a tall handlebar and a tall windscreen, etc.
