Mahindra XUV700 6 Seater Variant Coming Soon; Details Inside

Mahindra has recently launched the XUV700 mid-sized SUV that has received positive response from car buyers. The SUV bagged over 75,000 bookings in just 2 days, and currently commands a waiting period of up to 19 weeks. The Mahindra XUV700 SUV is offered in two seating layout – a 5-seater and a 7-seater with later offering bench-type seats in second and third-row.

A new report claims that the Mahindra XUV700 will receive a 6-seater variant in the near future. The 6-seater XUV700 will come with captain seats in the second row. A picture in the AdrenoX app reveals the seating layout of the XUV700 with captain seats in the second row.

The image shows that the second row captain seats have independent armrests. Expect this variant to offer one touch tumble option in the second row for the quick and easy access to third row. The Mahindra XUV700 is available in 4 trim levels – MX, AX3, AX5 and AX7. The petrol version is priced between Rs 12.49 lakh and Rs 21.29 lakh, while the diesel model is priced at Rs 12.99 lakh for base MX variant and Rs 22.99 lakh for the top-end variant. The SUV prices will further increase in the next month.

The new Mahindra XUV700 is offered with two engine options – a 2.2-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel and a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol. The petrol engine produces 200bhp and 380Nm of torque, while the diesel engine offers two states of tunes – 155bhp/360Nm for MX trim and 185bhp/420Nm (450NM with AT) with AdrenoX AX trim. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. The diesel engine offers 4 driving modes – Zip, Zap, Zoom and Custom.
