Yamaha has introduced new “color customization option” for the MT 15 naked streetfighter in the country. The company claims that the “new campaign is launched at the backdrop of various customers giving the thumbs up to the recent launch of the ICE FLUO-VERMILLION color in MT 15, a popular variant which is currently on booking.” Called “Customize your Warrior”, the new campaign is introduced across the country.
Customers can customize the Yamaha MT 15 colors and make 11 combinations from 3 existing standard colors and 4-wheel colors, now available in 14 colors. The new campaign is available only for the new purchases. The vehicles will be made by Yamaha based on the order received from the customers on Yamaha Motor India website.
Yamaha said that delivery of the new motorcycle will begin from January 2021. Neon Green color wheel model will start delivery from March 2021. The Yamaha MT 15 will be offered in 14 unique colors, including 3 existing standard colors. These 3 color options is available at the dealerships, and for 11 new color combinations customer can place order with Yamaha through its authorized dealers.
Powering the new Yamaha MT 15 is a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve, 155cc fuel injection engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) system. Paired to a 6-speed gearbox, this engine is capable to produce a maximum power of 18.3bhp and a peak torque of 14.1Nm.
The bike also gets Assist & Slipper Clutch and Single-Channel ABS system. The Yamaha MT-15 is available at a price tag of Rs 1.44 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
