All-New Honda Civic Hatchback Could Look Like This

Japanese automaker, Honda has recently released the next-gen Civic sedan prototype, which previews the design philosophy for the next Civic range. The all-new Honda Civic range is most likely to be unveiled in production avatar in the second quarter of 2021. The company will also unveil the next-gen Civic hatchback and the Civic Type-R.

Digital Artist, Klebar Silva has released new renderings of the next-gen Civic hatchback and the Civic Type R. The new renderings are based on the Civic sedan prototype. The new model will have boxier front look, featuring trapezoidal shaped headlamps and a more pronounced front grille. It will miss out on the arching shape at the bottoms of the headlamps in the existing model.

The vehicle has a two-tier front grille with a smaller opening on top and a larger air-intake at the bottom. There is a smaller portion of the bumper separating the upper grille and the lower air-intake.

The profile of the new Civic hatchback won’t receive major changes; however, it will have less creases. There is a strong line that runs across the length to merge the tail-lights. At the back, the new-gen Honda Civic hatchback features full-width tail-lamps, boxier shape and lip spoiler.

All-New Honda Civic Type R Imagined

The new Civic Type R is expected to feature extended fenders, large wheels and wide-open design for fast cooling of the braking system. Adding to it, the famous rear wing of the sportiest Civic is also on offer.

Big changes are expected in the interior of the Civic hatchback. It will have simple dashboard with minimal buttons. This model will offer great ergonomics and visibility. The Civic’s prototype had an all-digital driver’s meter cluster and a new 9-inch full-HD free-standing touchscreen infotainment system.

All-New Honda Civic Type R rendering

The New-gen Honda Civic Turbo has less bolder and aggressive design than the current model. The new model will be positioned in different segments in different markets. The company has also confirmed that the global markets will also receive the new Civic Si Sedan. The Type R has already been spotted and is rumoured to feature a hybrid engine for the 2.0 turbo to offer around 400bhp.
