Volkswagen India today rolled out the Vento Matt Edition alongside the Polo Matt Edition the country. The Volkswagen Vento Matt Edition comes in two variants – Highline AT and Highline Plus AT – priced at Rs 11.94 lakh and Rs 13.34 lakh (all, ex-showroom) respectively. The new Matt edition is around Rs 15,000 more expensive than their standard counterparts.
The automaker has confirmed that both matt editions will be available across all its dealerships and Volkswagen online retail platform from 5th October onwards. Deliveries will begin very soon. The company is also offering Volkswagen standard 4EVER Care package that includes 4 year standard warranty, 4 years road-side assistance (RSA) and 3 free services as a standard.
The Volkswagen Vento Matt Edition comes with the 1.0L TSI petrol engine that generates a peak power of 110bhp and 175Nm of torque. The motor comes paired to a 6-speed automatic gearbox only. The new Vento limited edition has Carbon Steel Grey matt finish. The glossy black door handles and ORVM caps and wheels with silver finish add more to its sporty appeal. On the feature front, the sedan’s new Matt Edition offers dual-tone interior, leatherette seat upholstery, a 6.5-inch infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, Volkswagen Connect connectivity suite, steering mounted audio controls, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, hill start assist, auto dimming inside mirror and electronic stability programme. The Highline Plus trim comes with some additional features including LED headlamps with auto leveling function and DRLs, 16-inch alloy wheels, rear parking camera and four airbags.
