Volkswagen has launched in new Exclusive Edition of the Tiguan SUV in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 33.50 lakh, the VW Tiguan Exclusive Edition comes with cosmetic updates. The new exclusive edition has not received any mechanical upgrade or any new feature. It is offered in a single 2.0L TSI engine with a 7-speed DSG gearbox.
The new Volkswagen Tiguan Exclusive Edition comes with some cosmetic updates. It features a set of new 18-inch twin five-spoke alloy wheels that gives a sportier look. The company has also added a new dynamic hubcap for the wheels and a new load sill protection at the rear. Exclusive Edition badging is embossed on the B-pillar. The SUV is offered in two exterior colour options – Pure White and Oryx White.
Inside the cabin, the Volkswagen Tiguan Exclusive Edition comes fitted with aluminium foot pedals along with Exclusive Edition badging all-around the cabin. The SUV retains most of the features and upholstery, which is available in the regular model.
The VW Tiguan Exclusive Edition is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 190bhp and 320Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, driving power to all four-wheels via an AWD system. It is claimed to offer an ARAI certified fuel economy of 12.65kmpl.
In terms of features, the Tiguan Exclusive Edition gets LED matrix headlights, an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with gesture control, leather seats, illuminated scuff plates, ambient lighting, a 3-zone climate control system and a panoramic sunroof. For safety and security, the SUV gets six airbags, ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), electronic stability control, hill start assist and hill descent control.
