TVS Motor Company and Bajaj Auto are planning to launch 2 brand new motorcycles in the country in the month of July 2022. TVS will launch the new 225cc cruiser motorcycle on July 6, 2022, while Bajaj will launch the new Pulsar on 13th of July 2022. Not just TVS and Bajaj, Royal Enfield will also launch the new Hunter 350 motorcycle in the first week of August 2022.
TVS Ronin 225 Cruiser
It is reported that the upcoming TVS motorcycle will be called the new TVS Ronin 225 cruiser. The new motorcycle will feature the retro traditional cruiser styling. The motorcycle will have a retro-styled round headlamp unit and a round console with necessary readouts – odometer, speedometer, fuel level, engine temperature, etc.
The new motorcycle is likely to be powered by a 223cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 20bhp of power and 20Nm of torque. The engine will be paired to a 5-speed gearbox. It could get USD front forks and a monoshock unit at the rear. For braking, the Ronin 225 gets a single disc at both ends with dual-channel ABS system.
New Bajaj Pulsar
Bajaj Auto is testing an all-new motorcycle, which is likely to be the new Pulsar N160. The company has also released a new teaser, revealing the front styling. The new motorcycle will be introduced in the country on July 13, 2022. The styling of the new Bajaj Pulsar N160 is heavily inspired by the Pulsar N250. In terms of styling, the new Bajaj Pulsar N160 will share projector light, LED daytime running lamps and cowl with the bigger sibling. In fact, the fuel tank design and tail section are shared with the bigger bike. The rear profile is also share similarities with the N250.
The spotted model comes with an air-cooled engine with an underbelly exhaust. It is yet to be revealed that the engine will have an oil cooling system. The Bajaj’s 160.3cc, oil-cooled, twin-spark DTS-i FI engine produces 17.2PS and 14.6Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle will have telescopic front forks with anti-friction brush and Nitrox mono shock absorber with canister at the rear. It will ride on 17-inch alloy wheels.
