TVS Apache 310 Street Bookings Open; Gets Aggressive Styling

TVS Motor Company is all set to introduce an all-new sporty motorcycle under its Apache nameplate on September 6, 2023. Set to rival the KTM 390 Duke, Honda CB300R and the upcoming Yamaha MT-03, the new TVS Apache 310 Street will offer futuristic styling & performance. In fact, the new motorcycle is now available of pre-bookings.

TVS is currently selling the Apache RR 310 fully-faired bike as a flagship model, which is jointly developed by TVS & BMW. BMW is also selling the G310R and the G310 GS in the country. All three bikes are based on the same platform and uses the same powertrain. It is expected that the TVS Apache 310 Street will share the features and components with the BMW G310R and the Apache RR310. The new motorcycle will have aggressive front design, new alloys and vibrant colour options.

The TVS Apache 310 Street will come with USD front forks and a monoshock at the rear. The motorcycle will have split seat design, newly styled tail-lights and a tyre hugger that accommodates number plate and turn indicators. It will come with a new square-shaped TFT display, which is likely to get some additional features. As a reminder, the Apache RR310 gets a rectangular, vertically positioned TFT display. The motorcycle will have TVS SmartXonnect connectivity suite with features like navigation assist, ride analytics, access to call & SMS.

The new TVS Apache 310 Street will be powered by a new 312.2cc, single-cylinder, 4 valve, liquid-cooled engine. Similar to the RR310, the new motorcycle is likely to offer 4 ride modes – Sport, Track, Urban and Rain. In Sport and Track mode, the powertrain produces 34PS of power and 27.3Nm of torque. In Urban and Rain mode, the engine churns out 25.8PS and 25Nm of torque.

It is expected to offer better performance than the RR310. The Street 310 will be lighter and should offer better power-to-weight ratio. It could also offer better fuel efficiency. The new teaser reveals that the motorcycle is likely to have shorter turning radius and will feel quicker on streets.

The teaser reveals that the motorcycle gets a muscular fuel tank with strong creases, rearward set footpegs, sleek dual LED headlamp, a jaw-dropping face, a compact rear end with twin vertical LED tail-lights and side-mounted exhaust unit. The motorcycle gets split grab rails, split seats, and a short front fender.
