The Toyota Innova Hycross is poised to commemorate its successful first year in the country with the introduction of an exclusive limited edition, rooted in the GX petrol trim. Priced between Rs 20.07 lakh and Rs 20.22 lakh (ex-showroom), this celebratory variant carries a premium of nearly Rs 40,000 over its standard counterpart. Externally, the front grille boasts a new chrome garnish spanning the center, accompanied by fresh faux silver skid plates on both the front and rear bumpers. In a departure from the higher trims, the Limited Edition forgoes bumper garnishes and larger alloys. Substantial changes await within the cabin, where the dashboard now features a soft-touch material with an elegant chestnut brown finish. Door trims follow suit with a chestnut brown finish, replacing the conventional black plastic. The refreshed aesthetics continue with new dual-tone (Black and Brown) seat upholstery and faux wood trim surrounding the window controls. The GX Limited Edition offers flexibility with either a 7-seater or 8-seater layout.
Under the hood, the Limited Edition exclusively houses the 2.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine, coupled with a CVT gearbox. This powertrain delivers a robust performance with a maximum power output of 172bhp and 205Nm of torque, achieving a claimed mileage of 16.13kmpl. Notably, the hybrid powertrain option is excluded from this special edition, as it remains exclusive to the higher VX, Z, and ZX (O) trims. The hybrid variant boasts a formidable maximum power of 184bhp and features an e-Drive transmission.
