The rising demand for SUVs have prompted automakers to launch multiple products in the near future. Not just new models, car manufacturers will also upgrade its existing models. This year, 3 existing sub-4 meter SUVs will receive mid-life facelifts or generation change.

2022 Maruti Brezza Design Changes

Maruti Suzuki will launch the new Brezza in the mid-2022, around May-June. The new model will rival come with significant design changes and all-new interior along with mechanical upgrades. In terms of features, the SUV will get a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, an automatic AC with rear AC vents, electric sunroof, paddle shifters, height adjustable driver seat and others. It will be powered by a 103bhp, 1.5L NA petrol with 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic.

Hyundai will launch the new Venue facelift in the Indian market by mid-2022. In fact, testing of the new model has already been started in India. The new model will receive new design language, which we have already seen on the new Creta & the Tucson. It will also receive the new N-Line variant, which will have more aggressive design and better suspension setup. It will be offered with the same set of engines – a 83bhp, 1.2L NA Petrol, a 118bhp, 1.0L turbo petrol and a 99bhp, 1.5L turbo-diesel.

Mahindra will launch the new XUV300 facelift by the end of this year or in the first quarter of 2023. The updated model will come with cosmetic design changes & upgraded interior along with new engine option. The new model will come equipped with a new 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine. For people not in the know, Mahindra had showcased the XUV300 Sportz edition with the 1.2L mStallion engine at the 2020 Auto Expo. This variant was claimed to be the racier variant of the SUV, which has already been spotted multiple times.

The new engine is capable of producing 130bhp of power and 230Nm of torque, which is 20bhp and 30Nm more than the current 1.2L engine. The lower variants will continue to be offered with the 110bhp, 1.2L turbocharged petrol engine. The Mahindra XUV300 facelift will continue to be offered with the same 1.5L turbocharged diesel engine.
