Automakers have shared their sales data for July 2021, which suggests that the auto industry is getting good response post COVID-19 related restrictions. In this article, we talk about the top 10 selling SUVs in the month of July 2021. Hyundai Creta claimed the top position, followed by Maruti Vitara Brezza. Tata Motors sold over 10,000 Nexons, beating the likes of the Hyundai Venue and the Kia Sonet.

– Hyundai sold 13,000 units of the Creta compact SUV in July 2021. In the same month last year, Hyundai Creta sales were 11,549 units. The SUV recorded a year-on-year growth of 12.5 percent.
– Hyundai Creta beats the Maruti Vitara Brezza to retain the top-spot. In July 2021, Maruti sold 12,676 units of the Brezza as against 7,807 units in the same month last year.
– For the first time, Tata Nexon has recorded sales of over 10,000 units in a single month. The SUV grab the third spot in the list of top 10 selling SUVs of July 2021. The company sold 10,287 units last month as against 4,327 units July 2020.
– Hyundai Venue is now on 4th position with 8,185 units sold in July 2021 as against 6,734 units in the same month last year. The compact SUV recorded a year-on-year growth of 21.5%.
– Kia Motors sold 7,675 units of the Sonet sub-4 meter SUV in July 2021. It is now placed on the 5th position in the list of top 10 selling SUVs. Kia’s mid-sized SUV, Seltos grabs sixth position in the list with a top sales of 6,983 units in July 2021 as against 8,270 units in the same month last year. It recorded a year-on-year negative growth of 15.5%.
– Mahindra’s sub-4 meter SUV, XUV300 also received an excellent response from buyers. The company sold 6,027 units in July 2021 as against 2,519 units in the same month last year. Standing on the 7th position, the XUV300 recorded a massive 139% sales growth.
– Nissan India sold 4,073 units of the Magnite compact SUV, while Mahindra sold 3,855 units of the Scorpio in the month of July 2021.
– Renault’s entry-level compact SUV, Kiger is on 10th position in the list of top 10 selling SUVs in India. The company sold 3,557 units in JUly 2021.
