This Stealth Black Land Rover Defender Looks Classy

Land Rover Defender is already a rugged looking SUV; however, Vossen Wheels decided to further enhance its solid presence by adding certain elements to the stock model. This Defender has stealthy treatment, featuring a set of Hybrid Forged HF-2 wheels with a black finish.

The Defender’s new 20-inch HF-2 wheels has the classic Y-shaped spoke design, but Vossen Wheels has added an extra angle for each element as it runs between the rim and hub. These wheels are light on weight, but has high strength. The HF-2 wheels features flow forming technique that allows for a great range of wheel widths within each design. The Hybrid Forged refers to the process of using a cast wheel with hydraulic rollers to apply pressure to the barrel.

Defender Vossen Wheels

These wheels are wrapped with 20-inch Goodyear all-terrain tires. The vehicle entirely finished in a Satin Black, while the tinted windows along the side make it look darker. The model featuring Vossen wheels is the five-door Defender 110.

Land Rover Defender Stealth Treatment

Land Rover has already launched the new Defender in two body styles – 90 (3-Door) and 110 (5-door) – in India. However, deliveries for the Defender 90 will start in April-June, 2021. The SUV is available in the price bracket of Rs 73.98 lakh to Rs 90.46 lakh.

Defender Black Treatment

Powering the the Defender is a 2.0L, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that churns out 300bhp and 400Nm of torque, and is paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. While its 3-door version accelerates 0 to 100kmph in 8.0 seconds, the 5-door model can do the same in 8.1 seconds. It sports a permanent 4WD (four-wheel-drive) system with a locking centre differential and active rear locking differential. The SUV comes fitted with Land Rover’s Terrain Response System.
