2020 Hero Xtreme 200S BS6 Priced at Rs 1.15 lakh

Hero MotoCorp is all set to launch the updated Xtreme 200S with BS6-compliant engine in coming days. Ahead of its official launch, the price of the new model has been leaked on the web. As per a fresh report, the 2020 Hero Xtreme 200S BS6 will be priced at Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom). This will make it around Rs 13,000 more expensive than its BS4 version that was available at Rs 1.02 lakh.

As mentioned above, the 2020 Hero Xtreme 200S will feature the BS6-compliant 199.6cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine. It’s the same powertrain that does duty to the Xpulse 200. It pushes out a peak power of 17.8bhp at 8,500rpm and 16.45Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. While the official details will be revealed very soon, it’s likely to come with a new colour scheme. Recently, Hero and Harley Davidson signed a new distribution and licensing agreement for the Indian market. Under the new deal, Hero will sell Harley’s accessories, components, apparel, riding gear and general merchandise via the brand-exclusive Harley Davidson dealers and its own dealerships. The home-grown two-wheeler maker will also develop and sell a range of premium bikes under Harley-Davidson brand name.
