Tata Motors has launched the new XTA variant of its entry-level hatchback, the Tata Tiago. The new Tata Tiago XTA variant with AMT gearbox is available at a starting price of Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). With this variant, the Tiago’s AMT line-up has increased to 4 variants.
The Tata Tiago XTA variants get all the features that are available in the XT variant. This variant comes equipped with features like follow-me-home headlamps, 14-inch steel rims with fuel wheel covers, body-coloured door handles and OVRMs, electrically adjustable wing mirrors with integrated blinkers, rear parking assist with display, central locking, 4 speakers, a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen with Bluetooth, USB and AUX support, power windows and auto door locks.
Powering the Tata Tiago is a BS6-compliant 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine. The Revotron engine is capable of producing 86bhp of power and 113Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual and an AMT unit.

First launched in 2016, the Tiago has been one of the best-selling Tata products in India. The hatchback has received a 4-star safety rating by GNCAP, which makes it the safest in the category. The company has already delivered over 3.25 lakh customers in India.
