Tata Safari Facelift – 4 Trims, 7 Colors, Bookings Open

The Tata Safari facelift will be offered in 4 trim levels – Smart, Pure, Adventure and Accomplished, and in 7 colour options

Tata Motors has officially started accepting pre-bookings for the 2023 Safari facelift in India. Interested buyers can book the 2023 Tata Safari and the updated Harrier online or at authorized Tata dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000. It is likely to be launched during the auspicious Navratri festival days.

Tata Safari facelift Specs

The Tata Safari facelift will be offered in 4 trim levels – Smart, Pure, Adventure and Accomplished. The 7 colour options include Cosmic Gold, Galactic Sapphire, Lunar Slate, Oberon Black, Stellar Frost, Stardust Ash and Supernova Copper. In terms of styling, the updated Safari gets the new width-spanning LED DRLs on top and main headlamp unit on the lower bumper, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The rear also has the LED light bar connecting the tail-lamps with welcome and goodbye animations.

The Tata Safari facelift comes equipped with more features compared to the previous model. It comes with a new 12.3-inch Harman-sourced touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an all-digital instrument console with navigation support, a new 4-spoke steering with an illuminated Tata logo and a dual-zone climate control. It will have a touch-based HVAC controls with two toggles.

Tata Safari Facelift Interior

The updated Safari is equipped with a JBL-sourced 10-speaker setup, multi-colour ambient lighting, wireless charger, a powered tailgate, terrain response mode selector with display, a panoramic sunroof, a 360 degree surround camera and an updated ADAS tech. The ADAS tech now supports adaptive cruise control. Customers can opt from persona-based exterior colours and themes. The Safari facelift will continue to be offered in the Dark Edition version.

Tata Safari facelift 6-Seater

The 2023 Tata Safari is only available in a single diesel engine option. It is powered by a 2.0-litre Kryotec engine that produces 170PS and 350Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. The SUV offers three drive and terrain response modes. It was speculated to be offered with a new 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine; that didn’t happen.
