Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition comes with all-black treatment on outside and inside; no new mechanical enhancement
Nissan has launched the new Magnite Kuro edition in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 8.27 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Based on the higher-spec XV trim of the Magnite, the new Kuro Edition is available in 3 variants – Petrol MT, Turbo-Petrol MT and Turbo-Petrol CVT.
The Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition is finished in black paint. The all-black treatment is offered on the grille, and grille surrounds, on skid plate, roof rails, door handles, alloy wheels and around window. In fact, the interior accents of the headlamps get black treatment. The non-black elements on the exterior include Nissan, Magnite and Kuro badges, and red brake calipers.
The cabin has also received all-black treatment. The roof liner, sun visors, door handles, and steering wheel comes with black treatment. In fact, the AC vent surrounds are finished in black. In terms of features, the new Magnite Kuro edition gets wireless phone charger, rear air-con vents, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay support, a 360 degree camera, a 7-inch digital instrument console and automatic climate control.
The new Nissan Magnite Kuro edition is available with two engine options – a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol and a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo petrol. While the former is good for 72bhp and 96Nm, the turbo unit produces 100bhp and 160Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox is offered as standard, while the turbo petrol engine is also offered with a CVT unit.
