Tata Punch Likely To Come In 12 Variants; Colour Options Leaked

The much-awaited Tata Punch sub-compact SUV is scheduled to be revealed on October 4, 2021. Ahead of the unveil, variants and colour options of the car have been leaked on the Internet. The company has already started dispatching the new model to its dealerships for customer preview.

It is expected that the new Tata Punch bookings will also open on the day of unveiling; however, dealers have already started accepting pre-orders at a token amount of Rs 5,000 to Rs 21,000. The amount is refundable on cancellation. It is rumoured to be priced between Rs 5 lakh and Rs 8.30 lakh.

Tata Punch Variants, Colours Leaked

The Tata Punch variant line-up and colour options have also been leaked ahead of its official reveal. The leaked document reveals that the new Punch will be offered in 4 trim levels – Pure, Adventure, Accomplished and Creative – and in total of 12 variants. However, Tata is yet to make an official announcement on the same.

The report further claims that the new Punch will come in 6 colour options – White, Grey, Bronze, Orange, Blue and Stonehenge. Customers will also get a dual-tone colour options with the top-end variants of the compact car.

Tata Punch Interior

The Tata Punch is likely to be offered with a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine that is capable of producing 85bhp and 113Nm of torque. Transmission options will include a 5speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. The vehicle could also get a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which is likely to offer close to 100bhp of power. The AMT gearbox is likely to be offered in Accomplished and Creative trims. 

The Tata Punch is based on the same ALFA ARC platform, which also underpins the Altroz hatchback. It source several interior features including the 90-degree wide opening doors with the sibling hatchback. The small car will be equipped with features likeĀ  a semi-gital 7-inch instrument console, a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, push start/stop button, a multi-functional steering wheel, and segment-first cruise control and drive modes.
