Tata Motors has launched the Red Dark Editions of the Nexon, Harrier and the Safari SUVs in the country. The new Nexon Red Dark Edition is available at a starting price of Rs 12.35 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Red Edition is based on the existing Dark Edition of the Nexon line-up.
The Tata Nexon Red Dark Edition is available in two variants – Petrol and Diesel – priced at Rs 12.35 lakh and Rs 13.70 lakh respectively. The new model is finished in an Oberon Black exterior with red accents on the front grille and brake calipers. The #Dark badge finished in a red hue is embossed on the front fender. It rides on blacked-out 16-inch alloy wheels painted in a charcoal black paint scheme.
The Nexon Red Dark Edition cabin is finished in black with Carnelian Red colour on the grab handles, centre console, steering wheel and leatherette seats. The #Dark badge is embossed on the headrests of the seats. In terms of features, the compact SUV gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment with smartphone connectivity, ventilated seats, wireless phone charging, an electric sunroof, an air purifier & others.
The new Nexon Red Dark Edition is available with two engine options – a 1.2L 3-cylinder turbo petrol and a 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo diesel. While the former is good for 120PS and 170Nm of torque, the turbo diesel is capable of producing 110PS and 260Nm of torque. It can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT gearbox. The new Dark Edition is available with 3 years and 1 lakh km warranty, whichever is earlier.
