Tata Nexon EV Max Dark Edition Coming Soon – What To Expect?

Tata Motors’ Dark Edition range has been doing great in terms of sales. In order to cash in on its successful series, the carmaker will soon bring in the Tata Nexon EV Max Dark Edition in the country. Ahead of its market arrival, the company released a teaser video showing its silhouette. The model could be pained in global black colour and feature #Dark badges on the front fender. It will have darker 16-inch alloy wheels along with the Blue accents here and there highlighting its electric nature. The Tata Nexon EV Max Dark Edition is likely to debut with the brand’s new, bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The same unit will also be available on the updated Harrier and Safari that’s due for the coming months.

Inside, the electric SUV’s dark edition will offer a sporty all-black theme and upholstery with contrasting blue inserts. On the feature front, the Nexon EV Max Dark Edition will have an electric sunroof, seats with cooling function, auto dimming inside mirror, air purifier, wireless charging, jewelled gear selector with Park mode, cruise control, climate control, semi digital instrumentation, ZConnect 2.0 connected car tech with 48 features, drive modes, electronic parking brake with auto hold, electronic stability program, four regen modes, hill hold assist, hill descent control, tyre pressure monitoring system, stability control, Isofix child seat anchors, rear parking camera, all four disc brakes and dual airbags.

No changes will be made to its powertrain. The Nexon EV Max Dark Edition will continue to use the 40.5kWh battery pack and an electric motor making 143PS and 250Nm. It can do 0 to 100kmph under 9 seconds. The SUV’s battery pack can be charged via a 3.3kW AC charger in 15-16 hours and a 7.2kW AC charger in 5 to 6 hours.

Prices of the Tata Nexon EV Max Dark Edition will surely be higher than its regular counterpart. It’s expected to cost around Rs 30,000 – Rs 40,000 higher.
