Tata Motors in partnership with Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd., has launched the Nexon electric in Nepal at a starting price of NPR 35.99 lakh. Similar to the India-spec model, the Tata Nexon electric for Nepal is offered in 3 variants – XM, XZ+ and XZ+ Lux.
The Tata Nexon EV is available with a warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000km (whichever is earlier) on the battery and 3 years 1,25,000 Km (whichever is earlier). The Tata Nexon Electric comes equipped with high-tech features such as a factory fitted electric sunroof with tilt function, a Harman-sourced touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, Tata ZConnect (powered by iRA) connected car tech with 35 features, etc. It also gets automatic headlamps, auto rain sensing wipers, rear AC vents, 7-inch TFT digital instrument console, climate control & Passive entry passive start (PEPS). The Tata Nexon Electric is equipped with a 30.2kWh Lithium-ion battery and permanent magnet synchronous magnet induction motor that churns out 125bhp of power and 245Nm of torque. It is claimed to offer a certified range of 312km on a single charge. The battery pack takes 1 hour to get 80% charge via a DC fast charger. It takes 8.9 hours to get full charge via a standard AC charger.
