Tata Motors will soon roll out a special edition of its popular Harrier SUV in the country. While its launch date is yet to be revealed, price of the model is expected to be announced at the 2023 Delhi Auto Expo in January. It will also be put up on display at the mega automotive event. The upcoming new Tata Harrier special edition was recently caught on camera featuring sporty red accents inside and out.
The spy images show the SUV’s special edition has red accents on the front grille and brake callipers. You can notice a special edition badging on the front fenders. The red treatment continues inside the cabin as well. The new Tata Harrier special edition has red coloured door handles and red leatherette seat upholstery.
The red and gloss black contrasting elements further enhance its sporty appearance. There are buttons on the driver’s seat that hint the model will come with the 6-way powered seats and ventilated front seats.
No changes are likely to be made under the hood. The new Tata Harrier special edition will use the same 2.0L diesel engine that’s good for 170PS and 350Nm. Both manual and automatic gearboxes are likely to be on offer.
The home-grown automaker is also planning to give a mid-life update to the Tata Harrier SUV in early 2023. Major update will come in the form of ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) offering safety features such as blind spot monitoring, autonomous emergency braking, automatic high beam, adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation system and more. It will also get a 360 degree camera along with the larger touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Noticeable changes will also be made on the exterior, while the engine setup will remain intact.
