Tata Announces Price Hike – Nexon, Harrier, Tiago

Tata Motors has announced a price hike across its ICE-powered (internal combustion engine) passenger vehicle range in India. Prices will be increased by 1.2 percent that will vary variant and model-wise. The new prices will come into effect from 1st February 2023. The carmaker’s product portfolio includes Tiago, Altroz, Tigor, Punch, Nexon, Harrier and Safari. One must note that prices of the Tata Nexon EV will remain unaffected.

The carmaker has cited continuously increasing “cost pressure driven by overall inflation” and the new regulatory requirements for the price surge. In official statement, Tata says that “the company makes maximum effort to reduce cost and partially offset the increase, it has become imperative to pass on some of the impact through a price increase.”
