Suzuki V Strom 250 Adventure Bike Launch Soon- KTM 250 ADV Rival

Japanese two-wheeler maker, Suzuki will launch a new adventure motorcycle in the country. The company has shared multiple teasers of the new motorcycle on its social media handles. The teasers confirm that the upcoming motorcycle will be a new Adventure Bike. It is expected that the new bike will be the brand’s entry-level ADV –  Suzuki V Strom 250.

The new Suzuki V Strom 250 will be a soft roader, as the teaser video shows alloy wheels. It is similar to the KTM 250 Adventure, which also comes as a soft roader. The motorcycle is likely to share the engine option with the Gixxer 250 twins. Suzuki engineers could make some changes in the engines state of tune and gearing to make it more suitable for an adventure bike.

The new Suzuki V Strom 250 Adventure bike will ride on 19-inch front wheel and 17-inch rear wheel. The motorcycle will have longer travel suspension to tackle some rough terrains. The video also shows that the motorcycle will have a rear disc brake and dual-channel ABS system. The vehicle could get switchable ABS.

Suzuki could alter the platform for the new V Strom 250 for the Indian market. The platform will give good ground clearance and travel without significantly increasing the seat height.

The new Suzuki 250cc adventure motorcycle will rival the likes of the KTM 250 Adventure, Royal Enfield Himalayan, Benelli TRK 251, BMW G 310 GS and Yezdi Adventure. The motorcycle is likely to get features such as LED lighting system, digital instrument console and Bluetooth connectivity.
