Skoda Slavia, the midsize sedan from the Czech automaker, has completed its first successful year in the Indian market. In order to commemorate the occasion, the company has rolled out its first anniversary edition that’s positioned above the top-end Style trim. The Skoda Slavia Anniversary Edition has been offered with the 1.5L, 4-cylinder TSI turbo petrol engine and manual (6-speed) and DCT automatic (7-speed) gearbox options. So, what’s so special about the Skoda Slavia Anniversary Edition?
– The special edition features a hexagonal grille with chrome ribs, lower chrome garnish on door panels and tailgate and dynamic Anniversary Edition graphics on the C-pillar.
– Besides the special anniversary edition, the carmaker has introduced a new Lava Blue colour scheme on the sedan model lineup. It’s also available in 7 paint jobs, namely, Brilliant Silver, Tornado Red, Crystal Blue, Carbon Steel, Candy White, Tornado Red, Crystal Blue with Black roof and Carbon Steel with Black roof.
– The Skoda Slavia Anniversary Edition has Anniversary Edition steering badge on the steering wheel, special anniversary edition scuff plate and carbon pillows.
– It offers a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with a 380-watt audio system.
– Features such as an 8.0-inch digital driver’s display, a single pane sunroof, subwoof, auto dimming IRVMs, MySkoda connected car tech, connected car tech, leatherette upholstery, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, height adjustable co-driver’s seat, 6 airbags, rear parking camera, hill hold control are also on offer.
The Skoda Slavia sedan model lineup can also be had with a 1.0L, 3-cylinder TSI petrol engine making 115bhp and 175Nm. It comes with two gearbox options – a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. The sedan’s 1.0L and 1.5L versions deliver fuel efficiency of 19.47kmpl (MT)/18.07kmpl (AT) and 17.8kmpl (MT)/18.4kmpl (AT) respectively.
