Skoda Auto has introduced the Kushaq midsize SUV in a new Lava Blue colour option. The SUV model lineup also receives a special edition with a few exterior and interior enhancements over the regular model. The Skoda Kushaq Lava Blue Edition is being made available with the 1.5L, 4-cylinder TSI turbo petrol engine that’s good enough for 150bhp and 250nm. The SUV’s Lava Blue Edition manual and automatic variants have been priced at Rs 17.99 lakh and Rs 19.19 lakh respectively. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom. The special edition sits between the Style and Monte Carlo variants.

The Kushaq SUV model lineup is also available in 7 colour schemes (5 monotone and 2 dual-tone) – Tornado Red, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver, Candy White, Honey Orange, Carbon Steel with Silver Roof and Honey Orange with Black Roof.
On the exterior, the Skoda Kushaq Lava Blue Edition features the front grille with chrome finish, a special ‘Edition’ badging on the B-pillar and lower chrome garnish. Interior has been treated with a plush edition cushion pillows and puddle lamps.
Feature-wise, the new Kushaq Lava Blue Edition offers leather upholstery, keyless entry with push button start, 6-speaker sound system with subwoofer, single-pane sunroof, auto dimming IRVMs, wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats with black and grey leather upholstery, rear view camera, USB-C charging sockets at the front and rear, rear AC vents, height adjustable driver’s seat, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, leather wrapped steering wheel, automatic climate control, cruise control, hill hold control, rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, ABS with EBD and more.
Similar to the Slavia, the Skoda Kushaq comes with the 1.0L, 3-cylinder TSI petrol engine and the 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox options.
