Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 Prices Revealing On 16th January

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is ready to go on sale in India on 16th January 2023. The 650cc cruiser bike will be made available in two variants – Standard and Tourer – which are expected to cost at Rs 3.5 lakh – Rs 4 lakh respectively (all, ex-showroom). That means, it will be the most expensive Royal Enfield bike in the country. The Standard variant will come in Astral (Blue, Black and Green) and Interstellar (Green and Grey) paint schemes, while the Tourer will be available in Celestial colours (Red and Blue).

At the heart of the new Royal Enfield 650cc cruiser is a 648cc, air-and oil-cooled, parallel-twin engine that pushes out a maximum power of 47bhp at 7,250rpm. Its torque figure stands at 52Nm at 5,650rpm. The company claims that 80 percent of its peak torque arrives at just 2,500rpm. While the motor is sourced from the RE Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, it has bespoke mapping and gearing. The bike has been equipped with a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox.

The new 650cc cruiser from Royal Enfield is the brand’s first model to come with the Showa 43mm USD fork suspension. It gets preload adjustable twin shocks unit at the rear. Braking power comes from the 320mm disc and 300mm disc rear brakes. The model has been assembled with the 100/90-19 front and 150/80-16 rear tyres. The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is the company’s heaviest bike with total weight of 241kg. Though, it has the lowest seat height (740mm) and ground clearance (135mm). The cruiser has a fuel tank capacity of 15.7-litres and sits on a wheelbase of 1500mm. Its overall length, width and height stand at 2260mm, 890mm (without mirrors) and 1155mm respectively. The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is the RE motorcycle to feature a full-LED headlamp and the Tripper navigation pod as standard. The aluminium finished switch cubes enhance its premium appeal. Some of its other key features include a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, black finish on engine casings and head and circular LED taillamps.
