Recently unveiled at EICMA, the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is all set hit our shores in January 2023. As the name suggests, it’s a bigger version of the ongoing Meteor with a larger displacement engine. But what else differentiates the upcoming Royal Enfiled Super Meteor 650 from the Meteor 350? Let’s find out.
Size
Parameters | Meteor 350 | Super Meteor 650 |
Length | 2140 mm | 2260 mm |
Width | 845 mm | 890 mm |
Height | 1140 mm | 1155 mm |
Wheelbase | 1,400 mm | 1,500 mm |
Ground Clearance | 170 mm | 135 mm |
Seat Height | 765 mm | 740 mm |
Fuel Tank Capacity | 15 litres | 15.7 litres |
Kerb Weight | 191 kg | 241 kg |
Considering the Super Meteor 650 is a bigger cruiser, the size of both bikes differs significantly. It is 120mm longer, 45mm wider, and 15mm taller than the Meteor 350. Its wheelbase is also 100mm longer which should help in better stability on the roadways. However, considering its shorter ground clearance and weight difference of 50 kg, it would be challenging to manage it on Indian roads. A big plus is that it has a shorter saddle height than its 350cc sibling, making it accessible even to riders with a short build. It should also result in better handling of the bike’s weight.

The hardware underpinnings of these two products again differ significantly. The Super Meteor gets a premium 43mm USD fork up front, a first for any Royal Enfield motorcycle. However, its suspension travel is 10mm less than that of Meteor 350’s telescopic fork. The bigger cruiser also gets larger discs and wider section tyres. Also, Its 19-16 wheel combination should make it the most agile of the two.
