2023 MG Hector Facelift Front Revealed In Clear Image

The new 2023 MG Hector facelift is all set to hit showrooms on 5th January. Ahead of its official arrival, the first clear image of the SUV has been leaked on the web. This time around, the updated model was spotted without any camouflage revealing its front design changes. The new Hector carries a pronounced diamond mesh grille instead of the existing trapezoidal studded unit. Its headlamp clusters and front bumper have been revised and slightly repositioned. The carmaker has already confirmed that the new MG Hector 2023 will have a new dual-tone cabin featuring a larger 14-inch portrait HD touchscreen infotainment system. It’s said to be conceptualized as a ‘Symphony of Luxury’ offering a “cinematic and immersive experience complemented by handcrafted textures, soft-touch tactlike, and versatile ambience on demand”. The SUV has a dual-layer dashboard along with the D-shaped AC vents and piano black and chrome treatment.

The Hector facelift’s infotainment system comes with the Next-Gen i-Smart technology and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. It has a fully digital 7-inch configurable instrument console. In order to enhance its safety quotient, the carmaker might equip the new 2023 MG Hector facelift with ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) offering safety features such as automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, lane keep assist, blind spot detection, rear drive assist, speed assist system and intelligent headlamp control.

Under the hood, the new 2023 MG Hector facelift is likely to employ the same 1.5L turbo petrol hybrid and 2.0L turbo diesel engines. The petrol hybrid setup makes power worth 143PS with 250Nm of torque. The diesel unit delivers 170PS with 350Nm. Both motors can be had with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. A CVT automatic transmission will be available with the petrol-hybrid powertrain only.
