Royal Enfield has announced a price hike for its two highly popular products – RE Meteor 350 and Himalayan. While the former’s prices have been increased by up to Rs 7,000, the latter one gets expensive by Rs 5,000. After the price hike, the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Fireball, Stellar and Supernova variants cost Rs 1.99 lakh, Rs 2.05 lakh and Rs 2.15 lakh respectively.

The 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan prices now start at Rs 2.10 lakh for the Mirage Silver and Granite Grey colour variants and go up to Rs 2.18 lakh for the Granite Black and Pine Green colour models. The Himalayan’s Rock Red and Lake Blue variants are available at Rs 2.14 lakh. One must note that aforementioned prices ex-showroom. Compared to the KTM 250 Adventure that costs Rs 2.54 lakh, the Himalayan (top-end variant) is still around Rs 36,000 more affordable.

Royal Enfield recently introduced the new-generation Classic 350 with a new platform, engine and improved styling. The model lineup is spread across five variants – Redditch, Halcyon, Signals, Dark and Chrome – priced at Rs 1.84 lakh, Rs 1.93 lakh, Rs 2.04 lakh, Rs 2.11 lakh and Rs 2.15 lakh respectively (all, ex-showroom). The Classic 350 Redditch and Halcyon variants are around Rs 15,000 and Rs 6,000 more affordable than the RE Meteor 350. The top-end variants of the new Classic 350 and Meteor 350 are now available at the same price of Rs 2.15 lakh.
The bikemaker has a handful of new models for the Indian market that will arrive in the next couple of years. The upcoming lineup includes a new 350cc bike (Hunter), a road-focused version of Himalayan (Himalayan GT) and a 650cc cruiser motorcycle.
