Royal Enfield is gearing up to launch several new models, starting with the new-generation Bullet 350 in the first week of September 2023, followed by the Himalayan 450cc. In addition to these, the company has a range of new models in the pipeline, ranging from 350cc to 650cc. One of the exciting projects in the works is a power cruiser codenamed Royal Enfield K1D, which draws inspiration from the Ducati Diavel. The model will be based on the 450cc platform and is expected to make its debut sometime in 2025.

The image of the new Royal Enfield power cruiser reveals an early version of the model. The final version is anticipated to feature a low seat, front set footpegs, and sweptback handlebars, offering an ergonomic upright riding position. The power cruiser is also expected to come equipped with modern features like a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, a slipper clutch, fat tyres, and alloy wheels.

Powering the Royal Enfield K1D will be a 450cc, single-cylinder engine producing approximately 40bhp and 45Nm of torque. The engine will be liquid-cooled and mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Like the Himalayan 450, the power cruiser might feature upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock suspension setup.

As for pricing, the new Royal Enfield power cruiser is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 2.70 lakh to Rs 2.80 lakh (ex-showroom).

Apart from the power cruiser, the new-generation Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is also on its way to the market with comprehensive design changes and mechanical upgrades. The bike will be powered by a 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine paired with a 5-speed gearbox, producing a maximum power of 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque. The 2023 Bullet will be based on the new ‘J’ platform and will feature a new single-piece seat, along with chrome treatment around the retro-styled round headlight, rearview mirrors, and taillamp.
