Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Design Revealed In A New Spy Video

Royal Enfield aims to expand its Indian product portfolio in coming years. The plan outlines the new-generation Classic 350, a new 350cc motorcycle and 650cc cruisers based on Classic and Meteor. All models are currently in their testing phase and we have seen them in multiple spy pictures and videos.

A latest spy video captures the upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 350 without any camouflage revealing some of its design details. The bike’s stance is similar to the Meteor 350, but it looks slightly sportier. The model carries retro-styled circular headlamp at the front. Design bits such as a teardrop fuel tank, alloy wheels, a single piece seat, short rear section and round taillamp with indicators further enhance its retro looks.

Compared to the Meteor 350, it has shorter and differently designed exhaust unit. The spotted test mule gets sporty black treatment right from handlebar, engine case to suspension setup and upward sweeping exhaust canister. The bike is likely to feature 17-inch front and rear black wheels unlike the Meteor’s 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels.

Reports suggest that the upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will be equipped with a twin-pod instrument console with Tipper navigation system. It will get the single disc front and rear brakes along with the standard dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system). For performing suspension duties, the bike will get the conventional telescopic upfront and twin shocks at the rear. The Hunter 350cc bike will underpin the Royal Enfield’s new modular ‘J’ platform that has already been used in the RE Meteor.

At the heart of the Hunter will be RE Meteor 350’s new 349cc, air-cooled engine featuring a balancer shaft for reducing vibrations. The new motor delivers a claimed power of 202bhp and 27Nm of torque. Compared to the old 350cc unit, the new one is more refined and efficient.
