The much-anticipated Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 is set to make its way to your doorstep, with its official pricing scheduled for announcement on November 7, 2023. To give us a sneak peek into this upcoming motorcycle’s design and features, the teaser images have been unveiled. Interestingly, we have gained insight into several engine specifications for this model. The most recent image comes from the social media account of Royal Enfield. The teaser video showcases the Himalayan 452 navigating the challenging Umling La Pass.

Once it hits the market, RE’s forthcoming adventure tourer will face competition from the KTM 390 Adventure and the soon-to-be-launched Hero Xpulse 400. While the official pricing details will be disclosed in the coming days, it is estimated to be around Rs 2.85 lakh (ex-showroom).

A leaked homologation document has unveiled that the Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 will be powered by a 451.65cc liquid-cooled engine, delivering an impressive 40PS at 8,000rpm. Its torque is expected to range between 40 and 45Nm. This motor, equipped with a 4-valve and DOHC configuration, will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Braking prowess will be provided by front and rear disc brakes complemented by a dual-channel ABS system. As for suspension, the USD front forks and monoshock rear unit will handle the duties. The upcoming Himalayan 452 boasts a kerb weight of approximately 210kg, nearly double that of the Himalayan 411. Its overall dimensions include a length of 2245mm, a width of 852mm, and a height of 1316mm, with a wheelbase of 1510mm. In comparison to the Himalayan 411, this new adventure tourer is 55mm longer and 12mm wider. The RE Himalayan 452 will be offered in a new Kamet White paint scheme, in addition to the regular color options.

Among its notable features, you can expect a digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, ride-by-wire technology, a round LED headlamp, a distinctive beak-like fender, a larger fuel tank and windscreen, a split seat design, wire-spoked wheels with a 21-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, and a compact tail section.
