The Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 has generated considerable anticipation and is poised to be one of the most significant new bike launches of the year. While we’ve already caught glimpses of the model in official images, the public debut and pricing details are set to be unveiled on November 1, 2023. Ahead of its market introduction, intriguing details have surfaced online.

According to leaked information, the Himalayan 452 will be offered in a fresh Kamet White color scheme, in addition to other color options. Notably, the motorcycle’s kerb weight stands at 196kg, with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 394kg.

Powering the Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 is a 451.65cc liquid-cooled engine, expected to deliver approximately 39.57bhp at 8,000rpm and a peak torque ranging from 40-45Nm. The engine boasts a 4-valve head and DOHC configuration. It’s worth noting that the power-to-weight ratio of the bike is estimated to be around 201.4bhp/tonne, a significant improvement over the existing Himalayan model, which offers 120.4bhp/tonne. Transmission duties will be handled by a 6-speed gearbox.

Braking performance on the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 will be assured by front and rear disc brakes, complemented by a dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system). The motorcycle will feature USD front forks, a monoshock rear suspension, ride-by-wire technology, and a digital instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity as some of its key features. The motorcycle also sports wire-spoked wheels, with a 21-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel. The ‘Himalayan’ badging can be spotted on the fuel tank, front mudguard, side panel, and rear fender, reinforcing its rugged identity.
