Renault Triber Variants Revised; New Features Added, Few Removed

Renault had introduced the 2021 Triber MPV earlier this year. The updated model was offered with new exterior paint scheme and new added features. The company has now again updated the Triber MPV; added new features and many features have been removed from the lower-spec variants.

The base Triber RXE trim comes with a single change. The side underbody still is now finished in body colour instead of the black finish in the previous model. The company has removed the ‘ENERGY’ badge on the tailgate from all the trims.

2021 Renault Triber Interior

The 2021 Renault Triber RxL variant now comes with roof rails, all-4 power windows and side air-conditioning vents with chrome inserts. It misses out on aircon vents for the second and third row, and cooling function in the centre console. In fact, chrome surrounds on the instrument console has also been removed. The gloss black strip across the dashboard has been removed. It now features a plain matte black accent.

The body-coloured wing mirrors and door handles are now finished in matte black. The side body decals have also been removed. There is no chrome on the front grille. The mid-level RXT trim now has Mystery black finish on the ORVMs. The company has removed the blacked-out B-pillar, Eco scoring mode, cooled glovebox and the driver-side seat back pocket from the RXT variant.

2021 Renault Triber Features

The top-spec Renault Triber RxZ now gets chrome highlight for the gear knob. It gets new moulded plastic instead of the fabric on the door pad. Prices of all these variants remain the same. Dual-paint scheme is available only with the RXZ variant. It is available in the price bracket of Rs 5.5 lakh to Rs 7.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The 2021 Renault Triber is powered by a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine that also powers the Kiger and the Nissan Magnite. This engine is capable of producing 70bhp of power and 96Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
