2021 RE Classic 350 Engine Specifications, Key Features Leaked

Royal Enfield is all set to launch the much-awaited new generation Classic 350 on September 1, 2021. Clear spy images and key design details have already hit the web world. Ahead of the official launch, engine specifications and key features of the new 2021 RE Classic 350 have been leaked on the Internet.

The leaked information reveals that the new-gen Classic 350 is designed and developed on the J platform, which also underpins the Meteor 350. Not just platform, the new Classic will also share the powertrain with the cruiser. Based on the twin cradle chassis, the new 2021 RE Classic 350 will have a fuel tank of 13-litres capacity.

The motorcycle will be offered in single and twin-seat options. Moreover, both single-channel and dual-channel ABS system will be offered at the time of the launch. The motorcycle will have improved fit and finish and offers better plastic quality for the switchgears. It will also get a new instrument cluster that has LCD info panel. The motorcycle will also offer Bluetooth connectivity along with Tripper Navigation system, which is developed in collaboration with Google.

The 2021 RE Classic 350 will offer USB charging option, new pillion seat, re-positioned grab rail and new tail-lamp cluster. The vehicle gets upright handlebar for relaxed riding position. The design of the fuel tank is similar to the existing model; however, it gets revised graphics.

At the time of the launch, Royal Enfield will offer multiple colour options and a host of accessories with the new Classic 350. Suspension mechanism will include 41mm telescopic front forks and twin gas charged at the rear. For braking, the motorcycle gets 300mm front disc and 270mm rear disc.

The 2021 RE Classic 350 is powered by a new 349cc single-cylinder fuel-injected air-and oil-cooled engine. The company will add counter-balancer shaft, which reduces the vibrations. Paired to a 5-speed gearbox, this engine is capable of producing 20.2bhp of maximum power and 27Nm of torque. The motorcycle will ride on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels shod with 100/90 and 120/80 section tyres respectively. Both spoked and alloy wheels will be on offer.
