Porsche has introduced the Platinum Edition Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe in the country. The special model receives customized platinum-themed design elements and more features over the standard version. While the Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition and Coupe Platinum Edition have been priced at Rs 1.47 crore, their E-Hybrid Platinum Editions cost Rs 1.88 crore (all, ex-showroom).
Similar to the regular model, the special version comes with the 3.0L turbo petrol V6 engine and V6 with 17.9kWh battery and electric motor powertrain. While the former makes a claimed power of 355bhp, the E-Hybrid delivers power worth 455bhp.

On the exterior, the new Cayenne Platinum Edition gets special satin platinum finish on the front air intakes, 21-inch alloy wheels and rear ‘Porsche’ lettering. The black side window trims and sports exhaust tailpipes add more to its sporty looks. The special edition comes with LED headlamps with the Porsche Dynamic Light system. Buyers have choice to select colour schemes in special metallic finishes in 5 shades – Mahogany, Carrara White, Jet Black, Crayon and Moonlight Blue.
Inside, the Cayenne Platinum Edition has textured aluminium finish with silver-coloured trim. It also comes with the brushed aluminum door sills, Crayon-coloured seatbelts, a special Platinum Edition logo, privacy glass and a panoramic roof. You can also notice the Porsche logo embossment onto the front and rear headrests. The list of features also includes a premium Bose surround sound system, 8-way electrically adjustable leather sports seats, a special analogue clock integrated on the dashboard and ambient lighting.
