Nissan Magnite Prices To Be Increased From January 1, 2021

Nissan had launched the Magnite sub-4 meter SUV in the Indian market on December 2, 2020. The new model is available at an introductory price of Rs 4.99 lakh, which goes up to Rs 9.35 lakh for the top-end variant. The company will increase the prices of the new Nissan Magnite from January 1, 2021, as the time period of the introductory prices will come to an end on the last day of this year – 31 December 2020.

The Nissan Magnite sub-4 meter SUV prices will be increased by Rs 55,000. The base variant of the compact SUV will be priced at Rs 5.54 lakh (ex-showroom). Magnite Ambient Lighting

Nissan has recently released the maintenance cost of the Magnite. It is claimed that the SUV has the lowest-in-class maintenance cost, which is 29 paise/km for the first 50,000kms. The company is offering a warranty of 2 years (50,000kms) that can be extended for up to 5 years (100,000kms) at a nominal cost.

The SUV has received positive response from buyers, as it records over 10,000 bookings in less than 15 days. The Magnite currently commands a waiting period of around 6 to 8 weeks. The new Nissan Magnite is based on the Renault-Nissan Alliance’s CMF-A platform, which also underpins the Triber. The SUV also marks the debut of the alliance’s all-new 1.0-litre HRA0 turbo petrol engine that churns out 99bhp of power and 160Nm of torque. The engine is paired to a 5-speed manual or a Xtronic CVT automatic gearbox. The naturally-aspirated version of the 1.0L engine offers 72bhp and 96Nm of torque.

Magnite Design Review

The Magnite 1.0L NA petrol delivers 18.75kmpl of mileage. The turbo-petrol version delivers an ARAI certified fuel economy of 20kmpl with manual and 17.7kmpl with the automatic gearbox. The compact SUV’s overall length, width and height stand at 3,998mm, 1,758mm and 1,572mm respectively. It has a 2,500mm long wheelbase.
