The Nissan Magnite AMT has made its debut, and the automaker has revealed its pricing, which starts at Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It’s important to note that this introductory price is valid only until November 10, 2023. The new model has been officially named the Magnite EZ-Shift and is available in four variants: XE, XL, XV, and XV Premium.
The Magnite AMT is powered by the same 1.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine found in the manual version, mated to a 5-speed AMT gearbox. This engine delivers a maximum power output of 71bhp and 96Nm of torque.
Nissan claims that the Magnite AMT offers an ARAI-certified mileage of 19.70 kmpl, while the regular manual version promises a fuel economy of 19.35 kmpl. The EZ-Shift transmission offers both automatic and manual driving modes, providing greater versatility. It also features a creep function, anti-stall and kick-down capabilities, hill start assist, and vehicle dynamic control. Additionally, the Nissan Magnite AMT is available in a new dual-tone Blue and Black color scheme.
Nissan Magnite EZ-Shift Review
Recently, Nissan India introduced the Magnite Kuro Edition, available with three engine-transmission combinations: petrol-manual, turbo-petrol manual, and turbo-petrol CVT. Prices for the Kuro Edition start at Rs 8.27 lakh (ex-showroom). This special edition features a sleek black exterior with black treatment on the front grille and its surrounds, skid plate, door handles, roof rails, window surrounds, and alloy wheels. Even the headlamps sport black interior accents.
The sporty black theme continues inside the cabin, with an all-black steering wheel, door handles, sun visors, and roof liner. Key features of the Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a 7-inch digital instrument console, wireless phone charger, a 360-degree camera, rear air-con vents, and automatic climate control.
The Magnite Kuro Edition can be equipped with either the 72bhp, 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine or the 100bhp, 1.0L turbo petrol engine, providing customers with various options to suit their preferences.
