The eagerly anticipated launch of the new-generation Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is confirmed for September 1, 2023. Surprisingly, teasers for the Bullet 500, Bullet Electra, and Bullet Sixty 5 have emerged, hinting at the potential revival of these models. Although further details remain undisclosed, ample information is available regarding the upcoming 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350.
According to leaked information, the bike will be offered in three variants: Military, Standard, and Black Gold. The entry-level Military trim will feature Red and Black color options, while the Standard variant will come in Black and Marron shades.
Built on the J-series platform, the 2023 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 will be powered by the Meteor’s 350cc single-cylinder long-stroke engine, producing 20.2bhp at 6,100rpm and 27Nm at 4,000rpm. This powerplant will be coupled with a new 5-speed gearbox. It’s anticipated that the upcoming Royal Enfield Bullet Electra will share the same engine-gearbox configuration. Braking will rely on single-disc front and rear brakes, complemented by dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system). The motorcycle will ride on wider 100-section front and 120-section rear tyres. Additional features of the new Bullet 350 will include a single seat with a height of 805mm and a new grab rail. An enhanced digital-analog instrument console with an LCD information panel, a USB port, and a redesigned handlebar will also be present.
Intriguingly, the Royal Enfield Bullet 500, which was discontinued in 2020, is potentially poised for a comeback. Rumors also suggest that the RE Bullet Sixty 5 might return as a 650cc version, sharing its engine with the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. It’s worth noting that the Bullet Sixty 5 was initially introduced in the early 2000s, featuring a 499cc single-cylinder, four-stroke engine generating 22bhp and 35Nm of torque.
