New Kia Sonet Facelift Bookings Open at Dealership Level

The anticipation for the 2024 Kia Sonet facelift has been steadily building, with select Kia dealerships now open for pre-bookings ahead of its official unveiling scheduled for December 14, 2023. Prospective buyers can secure their reservation by placing a booking amount ranging between Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000. The upcoming Sonet promises a refreshed look, featuring subtle design improvements, an enhanced interior with a slew of new features, and a continuation of the existing engine lineup.

While spy images and videos have provided glimpses of the camouflaged Sonet during testing, Kia has been actively releasing teasers to heighten excitement. The key details about the 2024 Sonet facelift include a significant upgrade in the cabin, where the Level 1 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) technology takes center stage. This system incorporates safety features such as lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, forward collision avoidance assistance, forward collision warning, high beam assist, and more.

The interior will boast a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, complemented by a new small screen below it that displays climate control details. Further enhancing the driving experience, the new Sonet will feature a digital instrument cluster, akin to the one seen in the new Seltos. Recent sightings of test mules confirm the introduction of new brown seat upholstery and a rear seat armrest. The higher trims of the Sonet facelift will be exclusively equipped with the Bose sound system. Reports suggest additional offerings, including a 360-degree camera and a head-up display (HUD).

In terms of design, the 2024 Kia Sonet will showcase LED headlamps reminiscent of the new Seltos, adorned with new inverted L-shaped LED DRLs. The front grille has been revamped, accompanied by a revised front bumper housing horizontally mounted fog lamps. The taillamp clusters will be connected for a cohesive look.

Under the hood, the Sonet facelift retains its engine lineup from the pre-facelift version. This includes the 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol, 1.0L turbo petrol, and 1.5L diesel engines. The transmission options are expected to remain unchanged, offering a comprehensive range of choices for customers.
