More details of the third-generation Hyundai i20 have emerged on the web. The premium hatchback will be offered in 8 colour options including 6 monotone and 2 dual-tone shades. The monotone paint schemes including Sun Burn Sway, Typhoon Silver, Polar White, Starry Night, Fiery Red and Titan Grey. The dual-tone options are 2Tone Black + White and Fiery Red + Black. The 2020 Hyundai i20 has received noticeable changes on the exterior, thus making it look more premium than before.
The hatchback comes with a new large cascading grille, LED headlamps with DRLs, ORVMs with side indicators, new alloy wheels, shark fin antenna, LED taillamps, rear windshield with black finish surrounding panels and rear wiper. The new 2020 Hyundai i20 will have all-black interior theme with features such as a massive 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Hyundai BlueLink connectivity, sunroof, digital instrument cluster, rear AC vents, steering mounted controls, charging sockets and more.
The i20’s new-generation model will be offered in four trims – Magna, Sportz, Asta and Asta (O). There will be three engine options – 1.2L petrol (82bhp/114Nm), 1.0L turbo-petrol (120bhp/175Nm) and 1.5L diesel (99bhp/240Nm). While the 1.2L petrol unit will come with manual and CVT gearboxes, the turbo-petrol motor will be available with iMT and DCT transmissions. The oil burner will be offered with manual gearbox only. While the 1.2L petrol manual will be available with all four trims, the 1.2L petrol CVT will be reserved for the Sportz and Asta trims. The turbo-petrol with iMT gearbox can be had with Sportz and Asta variants, and the turbo-petrol DCT will come with Asta and Asta (O) trims. Except the Asta, the diesel manual combo will be available with all trims. One must note that the dual-tone shades will be exclusively offered on the Asta (O) trim.
