Hyundai Motor India has issued a ‘Block Your Date’ invitation for an upcoming event scheduled on January 16, 2024. While details about the event and the featured product have been kept under wraps, speculations suggest it might be the unveiling of the highly anticipated new Hyundai Creta facelift. The SUV’s updated model, spotted during extensive testing, has teased enthusiasts with numerous spy images and videos, offering a glimpse of intriguing details. The forthcoming changes are expected to encompass both the exterior and interior, while the engine setup is anticipated to remain unchanged.

One of the standout upgrades in the 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift will be the introduction of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology, providing access to a range of safety features. These include adaptive cruise control, a blind spot monitoring system, an emergency braking system, high beam assist, collision avoidance, and lane-keep assist.

The SUV is set to receive a new fully digital 10.25-inch instrument cluster, akin to the one featured in the newly-launched Seltos facelift. The list of features will be extensive, incorporating a Bose sound system, automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, a panoramic sunroof, electronic stability control, USB Type-C chargers, 6 airbags, parking sensors, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

Significant design updates are expected at the front end, with the new Hyundai Creta facelift adopting the Palisade-inspired front grille, a revised bumper, and vertically placed headlamps featuring a split pattern and new LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs). The sides will showcase newly-designed alloy wheels, and the rear end will feature a slightly tweaked bumper and new LED taillamps.

Under the hood, no major changes are anticipated, with the continuation of the existing 115bhp, 1.5L naturally aspirated, and 115bhp, 1.5L diesel motors. However, a noteworthy addition is the Verna’s 160bhp, 1.5L turbo petrol engine. The transmission options will vary based on the variant.

With the introduction of these enhancements, the prices for the 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift are expected to see a slight increase compared to its pre-facelift version, which is currently priced between Rs 10.87 lakh and Rs 19.20 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).
