New Honda 100cc Bike Launching On 15th March – Splendor Rival

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has confirmed that it will launch a new 100cc bike on 15th March 2023. While the two-wheeler manufacturer hasn’t yet revealed its name and details, it confirmed that the model will be high on mileage. The new Honda 100cc bike is expected to come with a smaller capacity engine. At present, Honda has two 110cc motorcycles – CD 110 Dream DLX and Livo – powered by a 109.51cc, single-cylinder engine. The motor makes a maximum power of 8.7bhp at 7,500rpm and 9.3Nm of torque at 5,500rpm.

The new Honda 100cc bike will be positioned against the Hero Splendor Plus that come with an 8bhp, 97.2cc engine. With a 4-speed gearbox, it offers a claimed mileage of over 65kmpl. In terms of pricing, the new Honda 100cc bike is expected to around Rs 60,000 – Rs 70,000.

Upcoming Honda Bikes

The Japanese two-wheeler maker is all set to launch a new CB-Series motorcycle on 2nd March 2023. The model is likely to be a Café Racer based on the Honda Hness CB350 and CB350 RS. Both bikes were recently showcased to dealers in the country. The Café Racers have full LED lighting along with a bikini fairing, blacked out parts and a rear cowl. The bikes come with a semi-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity.

Powering the new Honda Café Racer bikes will be a 348cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, meeting BS6 II emission and RDE norms. The motor, with a 5-speed gearbox, delivers a peak power of 20.8bhp and 30Nm of torque. Both models are equipped with front and rear disc brakes along with the dual-channel ABS (antilock braking system). Suspension setup will include telescopic front forks and twin rear springs unit. The new Honda Café Racer bikes will compete against the Royal Enfield 350 and Jawa 42.
