The much-anticipated Hero Karizma XMR 210 has been eagerly awaited by many enthusiasts. Hero MotoCorp has officially announced that the bike will make its global debut on August 29, 2023. In the lead-up to its launch, the company has been releasing teasers that provide intriguing details about the bike. The latest teaser reveals the bike’s silhouette, showcasing a substantial fuel tank with sharp creases adorned by ‘XMR’ graphics. Read: New Hero 440cc Bike Debut By March 2024
Further information about the bike is expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks. It is anticipated that the Karizma XMR will sport an aggressive front fascia featuring an LED headlight. Among its design highlights will be a sharp fairing, a large windscreen, fairing-mounted mirrors, a clip-on handlebar, a split seat arrangement, LED taillights, and a compact tail section.

The new Hero Karizma XMR will be powered by an all-new 210cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, delivering a peak power of 25PS and a torque of 20Nm. This engine will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike will feature an all-new platform with a steel trellis frame and a box-style swingarm. Suspension duties will be handled by telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock suspension at the rear. Braking will be facilitated by front and rear disc brakes. Notably, the new Karizma will mark Hero’s first bike to feature dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system).
Hero MotoCorp has a history of competitively pricing its products, and a similar approach is expected for the new Karizma XMR. It is estimated to be priced around Rs 1.8 lakh (ex-showroom). This puts it in direct competition with the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 and Yamaha R15 V4, which are priced between Rs 1.92 lakh – Rs 2.02 lakh and Rs 1.81 lakh – Rs 1.94 lakh, respectively.
