Hero MotoCorp seems to be on the verge of introducing a fresh iteration of the Glamour, as recently unveiled documents indicate. As per leaked type-approval, the two-wheeler maker has registered the Glamour Xtec DR moniker, while concurrently designating two supplementary iterations as the Glamour DR and Glamour DS. It is anticipated that the new Hero Glamour Xtec DR variant might be available in both disc and drum brake configurations, with the likelihood of similar choices extending to the other models as well. For power, the new Hero Glamour Xtec DR uses a 124cc single-cylinder motor and its power yield is slated at 10.72bhp, mirroring the present figures of the existing Glamour Xtec model. The engine complies with OBD2 standards. Contemplating the spatial attributes, potential measurements for wheelbase stand at 1273mm for the Glamour Xtec DR, and 1267mm for the conventional DR/DS editions. However, these particulars remain among the limited insights disclosed within the fresh type-approval documentation.
A scant few weeks earlier, an undisguised sighting of the new Glamour variant offered a tangible preview. Evidently, the bike will feature an unchanged single-pod headlamp arrangement, exhibiting a massive aesthetic, complemented by a single-piece grab handle. The ongoing roster of Hero’s Glamour offerings currently consists of two iterations: the standard and the Xtec.
