New BMW F 850 GS & F 850 GS Adventure Launched In India; Prices

BMW has launched the new F 850 GS and the new BMW F 850 GS Adventure in the Indian market. The BS6 versions of the adventure motorcycles will be offered as Completely Built-Up Units (CBU). Bookings of the new motorcycles have been commenced at BMW Motorrad dealerships, while deliveries will commence in June 2022.

The new F 850 GS Pro is available at a price tag of Rs 12.50 lakh, while the BMW F 850 GS Adventure Pro is tagged at Rs 13.25 lakh (ex-showroom). The new BMW F 850 GS motorcycle will be available in ‘Pro’ profile with the Style Rallye Package. The new bikes will offer more distinctive touring characteristics coupled with ultimate off-road ability.

The new F 850 GS Adventure is designed for long trips and demanding terrains. The motorcycle gets TFT display and BMW Motorrad Connected, the USB charge port as well as ABS Pro and DTC. The new BMW F 850 GS Adventure will be available in India in the ‘Pro’ profile with the Style Rallye or Style Triple Black Package.

The new BMW Motorrad motorcycles come with a standard warranty for three years, unlimited kilometers, with an option to extend the warranty to  fourth and fifth year. Road-Side Assistance, and a 24×7 365 days package.

The new F 850 GS & GS Adventure are powered by a liquid-cooled, 4-valve, 2-cylinder, 853cc fuel injection engine paired to a six-speed gearbox. This engine is capable of producing 95bhp of power at 8,250rpm and a peak torque of 92Nm at 6,250rpm. The new bikes offer two riding modes – Rain and Road. Along with riding modes, the bikes get Pro-Dynamic and Enduro, DTC dynamic traction control and ABS Pro. Both motorcycles are equipped with a 6.5-inch full-colour TFT display with connectivity.
